## About

Flare Electrical & Solar is a commercial contractor based in Kent, working
nationwide. We design, install and certify rooftop and ground-mount solar, new
build electrical packages and LED lighting. Work is delivered in-house by
directly employed engineers rather than subcontracted labour.

We work as a subcontractor to main contractors and housebuilders, and directly
for developers, energy providers, schools and public estates, and commercial
property owners. We do not undertake private domestic work.

## Services

- **Rooftop solar**: Distribution centres, factories, cold storage and other
  commercial roofs. Survey, design, installation and connection, including the
  G99 application.
- **Ground-mount solar**: Field and compound installations on piled or
  ballasted frames — fenced, cabled and connected, with inverter housing and
  export metering.
- **Solar for schools and public estates**: Installed around term dates and
  site access, with full O&M documentation at handover.
- **LED lighting**: High bay, emergency and intelligent controls for halls,
  warehouses and offices, phased around the building's operating hours.
- **New build electrical**: Full electrical packages for housebuilders and main
  contractors.
- **EV charging** and **battery storage**: also delivered in-house.

## How we work

- Fixed pricing, measured from the drawings, with exclusions listed up front.
- Directly employed engineers resourced to the client's programme, with weekly
  progress reporting.
- NICEIC testing, DNO paperwork and handover packs completed alongside the
  install rather than after it.
- We manage G99 applications, capacity assessments and DNO liaison. On solar the
  application goes in at design stage, as grid approval is usually the longest
  lead in the programme.
